Xiaomi Mi 6 looks like little brother of Mi Note 2

Image
China's Apple - Xiaomi is in hot news nowadays for its flagship lineup i.e. Mi 6.  The likely render of the device had leaked earlier in October with a unique curved display. We actually didn’t see the resemblance back then, but right now a recent leak hints that the Mi 6 would adopt the same design as the Mi Note 2 bit with a scaled down size. And really on close scrutiny, the Mi 6 and Mi Note 2 actually look similar, just that the Mi 6 would be a bit smaller in size. Once again, another tipster has come out to reaffirm earlier rumors that the Mi 6 would feature a Snapdragon 835 chip onboard and would be launched in February just like we have heard in the past. Another information revealed by the tipster is that the flagship would pack a 128GB and 256GB storage options and would come in black, white and blue color variants. Elephone Max is now official Elephone C1 MAX

Image
Elephone MAX was in hot news recently for time being. As it is the first 6" device from the Elephone in its catalogue. Below we can surely see the working Obsedian Black Color working device. Its looks super cool as well its massive display. Apart from this if Elephone manges to make the display all black it would be like a single piece of glossy black paper as well the screen size is 6" as the device is compact too due to its very thin body. And maybe Chinese manufacturers didn’t do too well on the software part, this has changed recently. Apart from the hardware features like the dual camera on the back, it is said that the Elephone C1 Max will come with Android 7.0 out-of-the-box. And if Elephone continues to deliver constant updates, it will be a good choice for phablet lovers. What’s more, Black may be a classic choice, but is also a smart one. With a display this big, it adds a humble tone to the device. Being large, it would be an eye-catcher if its color was mor

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets new color variants

Image
When a phone gets a new color variant its like its launching afresh. An example is what Samsung did with the Samsung S7 Edge, releasing a Coral Blue and Black Pearl variant and raking in more money in sales. Surprisingly, very few companies cash in on that but it seems Xiaomi gets the idea seeing as they have released two new color variants for the Redmi Note 4. Originally available in gold, silver, and gray, Xiaomi has added blue and black color variants to the Redmi N0te 4. And they sure look very beautiful. The Redmi Note 4 takes over from last year’s Redmi Note 3 and should naturally be the head of the Redmi line but instead it is the dual-camera wielding Redmi Pro that takes the position. The new color variants are limited to the 3GB + 32GB and 3GB+64GB models only but the price still remains 999 yuan (~$144). The Redmi Note 4 has a 5.5-inch display, a Helio X20 chip, a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, 5P lens, and a f/2.0 aperture. There is a fingerprint scanner below the shoo

Users Will be Able To Delete System Apps in MIUI 9

Image
Most android phones that come with custom firmwares designed by the manufacturer usually come with apps you don’t need at all, or that you have a better alternative for. These apps, usually referred to as bloatware can sometimes be uninstalled completely or hidden. But what if the app you want to uninstall is a system app like the calendar or calculator or notes app? Uninstalling them, that’s even if you can, may cause your phone not to function properly. Xiaomi wants to put an end to that in MIUI 9. According to MIUI Product Manager, Ma Ji who spoke at the Global Tech 2016 event, he said MIUI 9 will allow users uninstall system apps without them having to deal with issues cropping up due to the removal of such app(s). The benefit of this is that you can now have only your preferred apps on you phone. An example is if you prefer using Google Keep as a note taking app instead of the default notes app. You will be able to uninstall the notes app completely and have only Google Keep

New Mi MIX coming in a lower price variant?

Image
When the Xiaomi Mi MIX launched, the phone manufacturer already explained that it will be in short supply due to the difficulty associated with the production of its ceramic body. Quite a number of people complained as to why they had to settle for a ceramic body in the first place but I guess they wanted to score top marks for design. Now that the hype around the phone has reduced, it seems they have had a rethink about the design and might be releasing a newer version of the phone with a body that is easier to make. According to the source, the newer version of the Mi MIX will be white and will sport a glass body. If you remember, we reported about a month ago that there was going to be a white ceramic version of the phone. There were even leaked pictures of the device. While that might have been a production sample, we don’t know if Xiaomi has totally shelved it in favor of a version with a glass body. If Xiaomi does release the Mi MIX with a glass body, we should expect it to co

Official Pictures of 20000mAh Xiaomi Mi Power 2 Power Bank

Image
The new Xiaomi Mi Power 2 20000mAh power bank is a great upgrade over the former as it now supports Quick Charge 3.0 output, small current charging for accessories like your Mi Band and bluetooth headset, and you can also use the new power bank to charge your USB Type-C notebooks. The design is also different. The top side now has a rough surface that allows for a firm grip even when your hands are wet and slippery. Xiaomi says you can seven full charges for the iPhone 7 and 2½ full charges for the iPad Mini using the 20000mAh Mi Power 2. Pricing for the 20000mAh Mi Power 2 remains the same as the first gen at $22 (Rs 1458 Approx.) but expect it to be jacked up by re-sellers. It is a pity it is only available in white though as a black version would have looked really nice.

Image
Xiaomi entered into the personal computer market this year with its Mi Notebook Air. Available in two sizes: a 12.5-inch model and a 13-inch model, which also sport different internals; the Mi Notebook Air has been praised for its design and build quality. Although we can’t ignore how it shares similarities to Apple’s MacBook Air, something Xiaomi is not even ashamed of hiding as it is evident in even the naming. You might have thought we wouldn’t be hearing of a new Mi Notebook Air not until next year, but Xiaomi thinks differently as they have a new model launching in Beijing on Friday, 23rd of December. The invitation to the event shows the right side of a computer similar to the Mi Notebook Air, however this one seems to have a 4G module as there is a 4G network signal in the lower right corner of the screen. The invitation also has Xiaomi’s logo and China Mobile’s logo on it. Sources say there is a chance this is just a 4G version of the original Mi Notebook Air and nothin
