As for the specs, apart from the CPU variants, expect the rest of the specs to be more or less the same. The phone will reportedly come with 3GB of RAM, 5.5

Oculus Treats Steam Games as "Second-Class Citizens": Gears of War Developer

Image
You'd think that PC platform owners would learn following Microsoft's shellacking at the hands of developers for its poor UWP implementation that threatens PC gaming as we know it. But if the latest slight at an audience that thrives on openness and customisation is to be believed, it was simply the first of many. With the Oculus Rift VR headset finally available to consumers comes the Facebook-owned company's own storefront from which you can buy games and other experiences. However with a host of VR-supported games present on other platforms like Steam, it appears you'd have to go an extra mile to get them working as they should with the Oculus Rift. "Certain developers may create applications for Rift using the Oculus SDK that are not distributed through the Oculus platform. While Oculus allows this, applications from such developers have not been reviewed by Oculus for security, comfort, content, or health and safety. We term these applications as coming fro

Specifically a line that states "Shadow of Mordor 2 - Stunts/Acting - Blur". iPhone SE Reportedly Gets More Than 3.4 Million Reservations in China

Image
Apple launched its much-talked-about iPhone SE (where the SE stands for 'special edition') smartphone earlier this month, offering a cheaper, smaller display iPhone to users who have been asking for it ever since the iPhone 6. Although the Cupertino-based firm has revealed nothing more than the handset's launch timeline and prices, a report now suggests that the device has already crossed over 3.4 million reservations. The report by CNBC adds that these reservation numbers for the iPhone SE (Hands On) are not worldwide but only for China. It should be pointed out that in China the 'reservation' process does not include exchange of money until the actual purchase, unlike with 'pre-orders' where the customers have to pay before getting their hands on the device. This also means that users can reserve an iPhone SE for now but might change their minds later. Although the 3.4 million reservation number is impressive, we are yet to witness how many will actually

Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM Edition Will Go On Sale On April 6

Image
Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship with much fan fare last month. There were three different versions of the flagship smartphone, with the Mi 5 Pro being the most powerful version in the series. However, even after a month of its release, the phone was not available for purchase. This was a bit disappointing since for around $415, the Mi 5 Pro was one of the best value for money options for consumers in the country and even outside (via third party sellers). Earlier today, the company started taking registrations for the sale of just 2000 units of the Mi 5 Pro Commemorative Edition with the model number engraved at the back. The sale will be on March 31, however, given that there are already more than 160,000 users who have expressed interest in this flash sale, its likely that you won’t be able to get hold of one. But now, Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Xiaomio Mi 5 Pro flagship will go on sale on a large scale on April 6, which is just a few days away. One of the

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Price in India Revealed; Exclusive to Flipkart?

Image
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller was first unveiled by Microsoft at E3 2015. The controller sports hair-trigger locks, enhanced sensitivity, and swappable parts such as different directional pads. It also has the option to remap buttons as well. Needless to say, it's not your average gamepad. At the time the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller was slated for an October launch in the US with other regions to follow. We posited that it was unlikely that the $149 (around Rs. 10,000) controller would be available in India. But if this listing on Flipkart is to be believed, we were probably wrong. According to the e-commerce giant, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller has a tentative release date of March 31 and will be supplied by W.S. Retail, Flipkart's preferred retail partner. It sports a Rs. 10,990 price tag which makes us wonder how many of these would be available for purchase. An odd move considering that special editions of top tier Xbox One games don't make it here, but a
