LeEco Le 2 Specifications Leaks, Features MT6797T Chip

Rumor mills started running hot as soon as word got out that LeEco will be launching their next generation super phone Le 2. Reports detailing the specifications of the smartphone emerged but details of the authenticity of those reports could not be ascertained.

LeEco Le 2 was spotted on GFXbench database recently and it sorts of confirms the specifications of the smartphone. LeEco Le 2 appears under the reference number X620 on the benchmarking website.


Le 2 is running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and boasts of a 5.5-inch 1080p display. It comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and packs 32GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it packs a deca-core MediaTek MT6797T clocking 2.0 GHz. Yes, this is a surprise given that MT6797T is Helio X25 and Meizu said that this chip will be exclusive to the Pro 6 for a few months. So, we will have to wait and see if things clear out in the coming days.


In terms of optics, it features a 16MP rear camera along with 8MP front shooter for video chats and selfies. This smartphone features an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor along with USB Type-C port. LeEco Le 2 is purported to feature a new material for its body material, probably glass or ceramic.

The phone is expected to debut in April, around the same time as the first LeEco smartphones were announced last year .
