New LeEco 55″ and 65″ Curved TVs announced

Recently, Xiaomi released its first curved 65″ TV at 8999 Yuan to compete directly with theLeEco Super 4 Max65 at 6999 Yuan.

Today, LeEco introduced two new models with 55″ and 65″ curved panels, the Super Max65 Curved and Super Max55 Curved. Both models incorporate LED Edge-Backlit 4K LCD panels with 3840×2160 resolution and recommended viewing distance of 2.3m-3.8m and 2.6m-4.3m respectively.


Both TV bodies are made of aircraft grade aluminum, 10.3mm at its thinnest part, the base is made of aluminum alloy, painted black after the silver nano-coating process.

The display has a minimum color gamut of 68% NTSC, 10bit color depth, 4000:1 contrast ratio, minimum brightness of 280 nits, 178° and a response time of 8ms.

Both TVs sport the quad-core Mstar 6A938 SoC with two A72 + two C53 CPU cores, clocked at up to 1.7GHz, while integrating quad-core Mali-T820 GPU.


4K M-Genuine S1 Pro color engine is present, along with support for MEMC (Motion Estimated Motion Compensation) dynamic image quality processing technology, HDR and HEVC / H.265 4K2K @ 120Hz hardware decoding, 3GB DDR3 RAM, 32GB ROM eMMC 5.1, dual-antenna wireless dual-band 802.11ac MIMO Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1.

Sound reaches to our ears through Integrated Harman Kardon certified audio, HI-Fi three-way speaker design with separate bass, mid and treble speakers, with a power of 10Wx2, support of DD+/Dolby TruHD audio decoding, DTS HD audio decoding, Dolby Audio sound technology and optional wireless speaker sound.

Connection interface consists of 3 x HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, three-in-one component input, AV input, PC audio input, computer VGA video input, optical audio output, RJ-45 and physical buttons for access without the remote control.


The OS driving all these features is EUI 5.8, based on Android 6.0 with support for multiple desktops. As for the pricing, the 55″ model will cost you 4,999 Yuan ($770) and the 65″ 7,999 Yuan ($1,240). If you chose to subscribe to the yearly plan of LeEco’s video service, prices reach 5,189 Yuan ($800) and 8,189 Yuan ($1,270) respectively.
