Nubia Will Launch A New Flagship or Its International Website On Jan 5

With the year coming to an end, many manufacturers have begun preparing their announcements for 2016 and today Nubia posted a teaser image on their Weibo page teasing either a new smartphone, possibly the Nubia Z11 flagship, or the company’s international official website.

The teaser image reads “Hello, World. January 5, the new release!” and has a background of a silhouette of an unknown smartphone and part of the earth from outer space. Based on previous rumors and reports, the teaser image could possibly be teasing the company’s upcoming next-generation Z11 flagship or the launch of the company’s official international website as the company recently purchased the Nubia.com domain for a whopping $2 million.
If the company is planning on unveil the Nubia Z11 on January 5, 2016, previous rumors have revealed that it will feature a full-metal design, 4GB of RAM, a 21-megapixel main camera, a 5.2-inch 2K resolution display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor. If it does launch the device on January 5 with the reported specifications, it will be the first smartphone to launch with the new Snapdragon 820 processor.
There’s also the possibility that the company will be doing both and launching the Z11 as well as the international website. We’ll just have to wait for January 5 to find out what Nubia has in store for its fans in the beginning of 2016.
