Airtel Unlimited Calling Plans are not truly unlimited : They are limited, wanna check how?


After Jio's massive Welcome Offers & Happy New Year Offers which offers tru ly unlimited calling & data plans to the Jio customers coming into Jio, other operators tighten their belts as well in order to attract customers. So in this race airtel also jumped off by offering customers unlimited calling plans to customers starting from Rs 145 & Rs 345 for airtel to airtel & airtel to others local & STD calls respectively (Calling packs may vary according to location). 

But do you really know everything about these plan? Whenever you ask anyone they simply say that these plan are unlimited without any limits, but wait really? So if orderto find out this we went to the airtel website and collected the terms & conditions for the plan which truely clarifies that there are limits to these plans. And what are they lets check out these limitations one by one.

First lets checkout about Airtel to Airtel Packs Deatils/Limitations-

  • Calls up to 1200 minutes per week only – Local + STD. Post exhaustion of which, the customer shall be charged @ 10ps/min, post consumption for rest of 7 day period(e.g-if customer crosses on 2nd day he /she will be charged @10ps/min for remaining 5 days of the week).
  • Calls up to 300 mins per day only – Local + STD. Post exhaustion of which, the customer shall be charged @ 10ps/min till Midnight.
  • Customer may call only up to 100 unique numbers within a week. Post exhaustion of which limit, customer shall be charged @10ps/min for the remaining validity of recharge for calls made to additional unique numbers.
Now lets learn more about Airtel to Non-Airtel Calling Packs Details/Limitations-

Now as you can see from the above limitations airtel has surely imposed a lot of limitations upon calling in its unlimited calling plans which is surely indicate that airtel calling plans are not truly unlimited.
