Upcoming Features of MIUI 8 Beta ROM 7.3.23
Xiaomi India just today shared a post about that what's cooking inside its Beta ROM 7.3.23 and what's going to be changed in the upcoming updates as well.
1. Home Screen - New Icons
Home screen have icons will have a big change this week with a goal of unifying the icon scheme presentation. In order to attain uniformity across the icons over size and shape, now the icons will adjust over the white background which will further strengthen the ease of use and visual impact. It should provide you more clearer and cleaner way across the pool of icons to find what's necessary the first.
2. App Lock - Private Notifications
We already have an app lock feature to cater you privacy concern by asking for password to launch the locked apps, but still the notifications content over the lock screen was demanding some privacy. With this feature you will be able to lock the contents of the locked apps over the lockscreen and in notification shade, and it won't show any preview content from notifications. This will be useful specially with messaging apps where you want to keep your conversations private against prying eyes.
To use this feature:
- open the security app - app lock - lock the apps you want. Press the settings icon on top to open app lock settings - turn on Hide content - that's it. Now all the notifications from locked apps won't show any content preview.
