MIUI 9 Global ROM Begins in November | List of Confirmed Smartphones getting MIUI 9 Officially

In an event today in India Xiaomi has lanched their latest series named as Redmi Y which will be focussed on the selfie centric smartphones. During the event Xiaomi launched two new devices named as Redmi Y1 & Redmi Y1 Lite phones and also announced the arrival of their much awaited Global ROM of MIUI 9.

Now talking about the MIUI 9 it got tonnes of latest features and improvements. Xiaomi also claims it to be the as fast as the stock Android phones. Also the fact to be noted here is that Google has already launched the Android Oreo update but the MIUI 9 is still stuck on Android Nougat OS. 

What features will be coming with MIUI 9?
MIUI 9 will have a Smart Assistant which can be easily accessed by swiping upward from your homescreen. There's also a split-screen feature mode with 21 new animated icons. MIUI 9 brought the all new photo editing app with smart editing tools. Overall this surely is going to be a major upgrade in terms of performance and all.
