Xiaomi Redmi 5A launched for Rs 4,999 only with 13MP camera & 3000mAh battery

'Desh Ka Smartphone' has been finally launched by Xiaomi in India named as Redmi 5A with an amazing starting price for about Rs 4,999 only.

 Starting with the software Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes with latest MIUI 9 in two variants with 2GB+16GB & 3GB+32GB supporting both hybrid dual-SIM slot. Highlight of the smartphone is that according to Xiaomi these are all 'Made In India' units.

Now for the pricing it starts with Rs 5,999 for 2GB RAM variant and Rs 6,999 for 3GB RAM variant. But Xiaomi is giving a discount of Rs 1,000 on 16GB RAM variant making it for Rs 4,999 only for the first 5 million units sold. First sale of the device will start from 7 December via Flipkart as the only partner and Mi.Com itself.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A Specifications

Now on specs side Redmi 5A comes with Nougat having a display size of 5 inch HD with a 296ppi. It's powered with Snapdragon 425 chip clocked at 1.4GHz with 2GB or 3GB RAM as per the model. On camera department you will be getting 13 megapixel rear along with 5 megapixel front camera. All these features are powered by a strong 3000 mAh battery of 5A.
