Xiaomi suspended updates for these 6 devices permanently

This comes to be a sad news for many Xiaomi users who own these 6 devices as Xiaomi said that it has suspended many more updates of these 6 devices in future and none of these device will receive any update other than MIUI 9 in future. Now talking about the list of these devices it includes-

  • Mi 2/2S
  • Mi 4i
  • Redmi Note 4G
  • Redmi 2
  • Redmi 2 Prime
  • Mi Note

Xiaomi confirmed that MIUI 9 will be the last update for all these devices and they will going to receive any Beta or Stable update since November 17 other than MIUI 9 which will be delivered to all these smartphone in December or January last time.

 It's notable for Xiaomi that it had even managed to provide update to it's smartphones even after 5 years for Mi 2/2S which was launched in year 2012 with MIUI 5 running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
